About the Business Forum:
The Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) aims to develop exports, enhance international competitiveness and encourage exports of non-traditional export products. To ensure that exports contribute to economic growth through increased and sustainable production, job creation, and competitive access to export markets.
Accordingly, a group of investors and businessmen from Zambia decided to visit Cairo and hold a number of meetings with Egyptian businessmen and investors in order to increase the base of trade exchange between the two countries. The day includes a business forum between Zambia and Egypt and bilateral meetings between businessmen of the two countries.
Objectives:
- Opening horizons for partnership and joint cooperation between businessmen in the two countries.
- Presenting the investment and commercial opportunities available to businessmen.
- Opening new markets for exports of services and goods between the two countries.
- Offer to open opportunities for joint cooperation between suppliers in both countries.
- Access to a new, applicable vision to be presented to the officials.
- Holding bilateral meetings with Egyptian manufacturers and suppliers.
- Achieving a new and viable vision in order to put it before the governments of the two countries, which demonstrates the ability of the private sector, civil society, and the business community in both countries to participate actively in African development.
