ASSOCIATION

MEMBERSHIP

  • The association is a private entity, affiliated with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, and is non-profit.
  • We manage our activities through 22 sectoral committees (industry, agriculture, trade, etc.) with 240 members until 2024, operating in 22 diverse and multiple economic sectors.
  • We have 17 representative offices in 17 African countries.

Our goals:

  • Connecting Egyptian businessmen with African businessmen, facilitating access to African products, and facilitating the supply of needs from the African market.
  • Raising awareness about common African investment methods.
  • Assisting members in presenting their problems to parliamentary councils and government authorities, participating in policy formulation, and presenting problems and solutions.
  • Establishing an African Think Tank for constant awareness of business requirements and African cooperation.
  • Providing distinctive and accurate information platforms about trade, investment, opportunities, and labor on the continent.

Activities:

  • Hosting African delegations.
  • Organizing conferences, participating in local and international exhibitions, roundtable discussions, and various events.
  • Organizing workshops and meetings with government officials, policy-makers, and decision-makers.
  • Presenting working papers and proposals to government entities.
  • Conducting commercial visits to African countries and systematic, practical, and effective trips to explore African markets.
  • Promoting and marketing members’ products through our field visits to their sites and the association’s databases and social media platforms.

Confirmations:

  • The association does not engage directly in the field of export or import.
  • The association provides networking and communication services, as well as various activities exclusively for its members.
  • Representatives of the association abroad provide their services for a fee, which is optional in exchange for services provided to the member.

HOW TO ​

JOIN

Admission Criteria:

  • Only joint-stock companies or limited liability companies are eligible.
  • The company’s capital must not be less than one million pounds.
  • The company must be at least 5 years old.
  • The annual turnover must be no less than 30 million pounds.
  • The company must have at least 50 employees.
  • Possession of an industrial or service license.
  • The company must have a bilingual and efficient website.
  • The company must have accounts on social media platforms.
  • No financial or legal issues should exist with the company.

Enrollment Process:

  • Fill out the application form with the required information for the desired type of membership.
  • Complete the payment of the registration fee and annual membership subscription.
  • Join the WhatsApp group and the email list exclusive to members.

TYPES​

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP

  • Through which all the activities of the association are entitled in addition to the right to attend the meetings of the general assembly, run for the association’s board of directors and nominate the members of the board of directors and vote for all of them .
  • Membership fees include paying an initiation fee of four thousand Egyptian pounds, which is paid only once at the beginning, and an annual renewal fee of four thousand Egyptian pounds.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

  • He has the right to enjoy all the activities of the association (except to : attend the meetings of the general assembly run for the association’s board of directors and nominate the members of the board of directors and vote for them).
  • Membership fees include an initiation fee of three thousand Egyptian pounds, which is paid only once at the beginning, and an annual renewal fee of three thousand Egyptian pounds.

 

HONORARY MEMBERSHIP

It is granted by a decision of the association’s board of directors to selected personalities with creative competencies for Non EABA members or for personalities who contributed in the development of the association or provided clear financial or moral services
The honorary member is exempted from the condition of paying the subscription and he may attend the meetings of the general assembly and its committees and its various activities.

Country representatives Membership

Country representatives is the official representative of the association in the concerned country . He directs relations and communication with organizations and stakeholders in the country.
