Cooperation with the Belarusian Company Vastega in the Field of Olive Trade

In continuation of the ongoing efforts and activities, and the distinguished relationships that the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) maintains with its strategic partners, and considering the interest of some external entities in cooperating with the Association and its members, we have received an invitation from the Embassy of Belarus in Egypt to introduce Vastega, a company based in the Brest Free Economic Zone, specializing in the production of canned vegetables, mushrooms, and olives, with over 90% of its output exported to Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The company adheres to the principle of producing from fresh and environmentally friendly raw materials, financing over 100 farms in the Republic of Belarus for the cultivation of cucumbers, tomatoes, and squash.
Olives are purchased from outside Belarus; however, the company has faced repeated issues regarding the quality and consistency of imported raw materials.

Therefore, the company seeks to establish new business relationships and develop cooperation in the olive trade, requesting information on Egyptian olive producers focused on exporting their products.

Objectives of Cooperation:

  • Establish new business relationships between Egyptian companies and Vastega.
  • Develop Egypt’s olive export trade and connect Egyptian producers with the Belarusian company.
  • Ensure the supply of high-quality raw materials from the Egyptian market to Vastega, avoiding previous import issues.
  • Enhance trade exchange between Egypt and Belarus in the food products sector.
  • Open new export markets for Egyptian companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan through Vastega’s network.
  • Expand the range of Egyptian exports to include vegetables, fruits, and canned olives.
