International Tender for Audit and Review Services for SriLankan Catering in Australia

In continuation of the ongoing efforts, activities, and the distinguished relationships that the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association (EABA) maintains with its strategic partners, and in light of the interest shown by some external parties to cooperate with the Association and its members, we have received an invitation from the Embassy of Sri Lanka to submit a bid from SriLankan Catering Ltd for contracting a financial audit and review firm to carry out professional audit and review services for the five-year business plan of a project to establish and operate an Inflight Catering Operation facility in Melbourne, Australia.

The main requirements of the tender include:

  • Reviewing financial projections and the five-year business plan.

  • Reviewing the market analysis for the inflight catering sector in Melbourne.

  • Assessing operational feasibility, supply chain, and workforce structure.

  • Reviewing risks and ensuring compliance with Australian laws and standards.

  • The bidder must be an audit firm registered in Australia with prior experience in aviation or inflight catering.

Please note: The deadline for submitting bids is 9 December 2025 at 10:00 AM.

Objectives of Participation:

  • Securing a major international audit contract with SriLankan Catering, which adds strong experience and notable references for the firm.

  • Expanding into the Australian market by providing audit and review services for a large-scale project in Melbourne.

  • Enhancing the company’s international presence and gaining a higher standing among aviation and inflight catering service providers.

  • Building a long-term business relationship with SriLankan Catering, potentially opening doors to future operational contracts or other projects.

  • Participating in an innovative strategic project to establish and operate a new inflight catering facility at one of Australia’s key airports.

  • Strengthening the company’s track record in auditing large-scale (five-year) business plans and feasibility studies.

  • Leveraging the opportunity to develop services through comprehensive financial, operational, marketing, and risk analyses for the project.
