In continuation of the ongoing efforts, activities, and strong partnerships that the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) maintains with its strategic partners—and in light of the interest of various external entities in cooperating with the Association and its members—we have received an invitation from the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation to participate in the Business Roundtables for Innovation, Development, and Government Engagement (B.R.I.D.G.E.), organized as part of the public consultations on Egypt’s National Narrative for Economic Development.
The main objectives of the B.R.I.D.G.E. Roundtables are:
- Aligning investment priorities with national development plans to ensure the private sector’s efforts are consistent with the country’s economic direction.
- Enhancing dialogue between the government and the private sector through direct discussions on economic policies and reforms.
- Presenting and discussing Egypt’s National Narrative for Economic Development, clarifying its vision and objectives to business community representatives.
- Encouraging innovation in productive and service sectors to improve the efficiency of the national economy.
- Exploring cooperation opportunities and potential partnerships between the government and local and international investors.
- Collecting proposals and recommendations from the private sector to support the development and implementation of more effective and inclusive development policies.
