The Engineering Consulting Office at the Technical College receives an African diplomatic delegation, members of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, and a number of African ambassadors*

The higher military colleges in Egypt represent a fundamental pillar in developing the armed forces and raising the level of military and technical competence. As part of the ongoing endeavor to enhance regional cooperation and cultural and scientific exchange with the countries of the African continent, the Egyptian Armed Forces organized a distinguished visit for a distinguished delegation from the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association and a number of African ambassadors.

This visit aimed to highlight the important capabilities and services provided by the Military Technical College, which include “engineering consulting and scientific research” services in a variety of fields. This step comes in the context of marketing the college’s services to enhance regional cooperation and provide expertise and advanced military technology to the countries of the continent. During this visit, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, delivered a speech expressing appreciation and recognition for the wonderful efforts made by the Egyptian Armed Forces.
He praised the strategy adopted by the armed forces, stressing that it is based on precise and studied scientific foundations. He also pointed out the importance of this support in enhancing the capabilities and capabilities in Egypt and achieving positive results in various fields.
He also praised the role of the armed forces in enhancing regional and international cooperation through the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
This speech reflects the extent of strengthening relations with sister African countries, and highlights the role of professional and academic associations in promoting these noble goals.

Major General Prof. Dr. Ismail Muhammad Kamal, Director of the Military Technical College, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, to the attendees. He also indicated the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to Supporting all various scientific and research activities with the aim of raising the scientific level and benefiting from the successive scientific development in all fields, expressing his appreciation for organizing such visits that contribute to achieving rapprochement with our African brothers.

Mr. Ali Pasha, Director of the Africa Department, on behalf of the Egyptian Commercial Representation in the Ministry of Trade and Industry, also gave a speech that stressed the importance of strengthening trade ties between the two countries. He praised the efforts of the Military Technical College and its distinguished services in the field of engineering consultation and scientific research. He stressed that this visit is considered an ideal opportunity to explore these distinguished services and cooperate with the college with the aim of achieving further progress and development in the fields of science and technology. It is also considered a positive step towards enhancing economic and trade cooperation, and providing new opportunities for companies and businessmen in Egypt and the countries of the African continent. He stressed the readiness of the Ministry of Trade and Industry to provide the necessary support to develop and expand these relations for the benefit of both sides.

This was followed by the screening of a documentary film that addressed the enormous potential of the Military Technical College, which is considered one of the most important educational edifices in the armed forces, with its human capabilities, training methods, and advanced scientific equipment in various specializations.

The delegation also listened to a presentation about the Engineering Consulting Office at the Military Technical College, which aims to provide engineering consulting services and provide scientific studies and practical solutions to all engineering problems by an elite group of specialists.

The delegation also visited an exhibition of projects implemented by the College’s Engineering Consulting Office, which attracted the admiration of visitors due to the scientific specifications of these projects that meet international standards. They also visited a number of laboratories participating in engineering consulting and technical reports.

At the conclusion of the visit, the visitors expressed their gratitude for the distinguished scientific level they saw in the work system at the Military Technical College, which reflects the Armed Forces’ keenness to raise the scientific level of all its educational edifices and adapt them to serve the nation.
