The Egyptian American Cultural Club and EABA hold a suhoor and congratulatory party on the inauguration of the president

On the banks of the magical Cairo Nile, The Egyptian-American Cultural Club and Chairman of EABA Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, organized a large expansive suhoor celebration on the occasion of the month of Ramadan and on the occasion of the celebration of the inauguration of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for a new term from 2024 to 2030, in the presence and participation of a large number of members and symbols of major Egyptian communities around the world. Among them are from America, led by Nashat Zanfal, Vice President of the Egyptian American Cultural Center, Engineer Tariq Soliman, President of the Center, and Engineer Naji Soliman, from England, Mustafa Ragab, from the Netherlands, Mahmoud Al-Salamouni, and from Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Zaki, and in the presence of the leaders of the Egyptian press and media, and a large number of representatives, senators, and symbols of the armed forces and police. And senior judicial figures and a group of businessmen and women and people of art, culture and tourism.


The celebration began with a speech by the journalist Tariq Allam, in which he gave his sincere thanks to the organizers and gathered in a quick narration the long history of Egyptians in America of continuous work towards the homeland and for free expression before the world public opinion about everything that Egypt has to offer in all issues. He reviewed the many positions of Egyptians in America. He also praised the role and efforts of the EABA and the tremendous progress it provided in communicating with our African brothers in a way that deserves appreciation and admiration.

At the beginning of his speech, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, Chairman of EABA, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian communities abroad, the Egyptian-American Cultural Center and its leaders, and to all those responsible for the success of this great celebration, stressing that what the financial and business community, civil society organizations, communities abroad, and the people of the country everywhere are offering is… There is no religion that must be performed, and holding this celebration carries many and varied goals and expresses a state of true national alignment in order to offer sincere congratulations from the people of Egypt, both abroad and at home, to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of his new term.

El-Sharkawi pointed out that we always aim to be effective in any type of cooperation we choose and we take quick paths in communication, and that we have close relations with the Egyptian-American Cultural Center, and that in the African file we will need the combined efforts of everyone, whether in linking with our brothers abroad in investment projects that can be achieved. In Egypt or in the countries of the African continent, or what we can offer in developing trade between the African continent and the countries of the world, and how Egyptians abroad can have a role in this as a new type of employing Egyptian soft power.

El-Sharkari concluded his speech by saying that he will work with the Egyptian American Cultural Center and some community leaders to prepare a vision in a model with all aspects and components from the perspective of the private sector in order to reach a long- and short-term plan aimed at reemploying the savings of Egyptians abroad in interaction with the private sector at home and abroad, and we will present this. Unprecedented and executable ideas and theses that carry practical and practical goals, the impact of which will be directly reflected on everyone. The collective participation and benefit of all the people of Egypt abroad, and we stand at an equal distance from everyone, is the password and the path to true success.

At the beginning of Mr. Nashat Zanfal’s speech, Vice President of the Egyptian American Cultural Center, he thanked the dignitaries and all the attendees, which exceeded 150 high-ranking figures from inside and outside the country.
Zunfal stressed that the Egyptians abroad, the Egyptian-American Cultural Center, and a large number of Egyptians in America, along with their colleagues in all countries of the world, were, still are, and will continue to be supportive of the state and the Egyptian political leadership in all axes, files, and the process of construction and development, because we truly have complete conviction in what has been accomplished. Now we see in Egypt what we dreamed of when we first left Egypt and saw the streets, roads and facilities that we were amazed by outside the country, and the astonishment has now become reality in front of us in Egypt on the ground.


Zunfal expressed his full readiness to cooperate with the EABA In order to accelerate the pace of cooperation with the private sector and more in communities outside Egypt that are in dire need of direct communication through an organized entity that knows the language of the needs of the various economic sectors in the easy language of the private sector, and to also utilize this in entering the African continent, which needs the combined efforts of everyone. . At the end of his speech, he thanked colleagues Tariq Soliman, Naji Soliman, Representative Ghada Ajami, Representative Solaf Darwish, and all the gentlemen in attendance.
