In continuation of the ongoing efforts and distinguished relationships that connect the Africa-Egyptian Businessmen Association (EABA) with its strategic partners, and in line with its commitment to enhancing cooperation with external entities, we have received an invitation from Rose Al-Youssef to participate in the seminar “The Egyptian Agricultural Sector in Light of the 2030 National Vision”, organized by Rose Al-Youssef Foundation. The seminar will discuss the future of agriculture in Egypt, starting with the State’s vision for sector development, the shift towards smart and sustainable agriculture, agricultural investment and food security, and extending to opportunities in exports, agro-processing, and the empowerment of youth and farmers, all within a comprehensive dialogue highlighting the role of agriculture as a driver of economic growth and sustainable development opportunities.
Seminar Objectives:
To review the Egypt 2030 vision for agricultural development and introduce participants to key policies and government initiatives.
To discuss the transition towards smart and sustainable agriculture and the role of national agricultural projects in supporting economic and agricultural development.
To highlight organic and contract farming, modern irrigation systems, and the use of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to improve productivity.
To explore agricultural investment and food security opportunities, including expanding exports and opening new markets.
To strengthen support for farmers and empower youth, encouraging the private sector to contribute to the development of Egyptian agriculture.
To build a platform for exchanging experiences and best practices among government entities, the private sector, and investors.
To formulate practical recommendations to enhance agriculture’s role as a driver of economic growth and sustainable development opportunities in Egypt.
