EABA participates in the activities of the Commercial Representation Conference and the African Development Bank

Commercial Representation Conference

The Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, headed by Dr. Yousrey El Sharkawi, and accompanied by 12 of the major companies from among the distinguished members of the association, participated in the activities of the conference held by commercial representation in cooperation with the African Development Bank, in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed El-Badri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs, and Mr. Yahya Al-Wathiq Billah, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority, Mr. Representative Sherif El-Gabali, Chairman of the Africa Committee in the House of Representatives, the repentant Ghada Ali, Head of the Economic Committee in the House of Representatives, and Mr. Ali Mohamed Pasha, Director of the Africa Department of Commercial Representation, in order to introduce the private sector and the Egyptian business community to everything that can be offered to the sector from the African Development Bank and listen to all the problems and challenges related to this matter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, chairman of the Association, along with Dr. Ghada Ali and Dr. Hazem Sabry, participated in the main discussion session, which was moderated by Mr. Ali Pasha from the Commercial Representation, and Mr. Samuel from the African Development Bank. Its events revolved around real opportunities and challenges to enhance joint African action at the level of the private sector. And the role of the African Development Bank in this, from the perspective of the requirements of the Egyptian private sector with regard to the file of financing and technical support.

During his speech, ElSharkawi emphasized the true picture from the ground, and what is the role of all strategic partners to ensure activation and achievement of rates that differ from performance in previous eras. It is likely that journalists will be invited to hold an expanded press conference to reveal this important event, especially since the Bank’s annual celebration will be held this year in Egypt in Sharm El-Sheikh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

ElSharkawi stated that he is working on completing the final lines to announce the association’s expansion plan in the continent (Plan 2024-2040), which will be based on a methodology and axes that establish the sustainable presence of the Egyptian private sector in all its categories and levels, and it will provide all the starting tools for an international business organization for the Egyptian business community, representing A quantum leap for the private sector through the organization, and through a commercial investment arm that guarantees integrity, transparency, and continued support for expansion and success with all strategic partners and sister countries, and achieves a general goal as a radical, different, future, and sustainable treatment for the Egyptian-African presence, and promised to announce it soon, and work is underway to allocate funding for this plan to ensure success.
