In continuation of the efforts and activities in place and the distinguished relations between the Egyptian African Businessmen Association and its strategic partners, in which some external parties are keen to cooperate with the Association and its members, we have received a copy of Circular Agreement No. (6) of 2024 regarding the implementation of the gradual reduction of customs tariffs on Egypt’s imports from… South Africa over 10 years by the principle of reciprocity in equal annual installments, by the letter of Mrs. Dr. Head of the Agreements and Foreign Trade Sector of the Ministry of Trade and Industry No. 322 dated 02/08/2024.
This is in the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) agreement, as South Africa recently began activating trade exchange under the umbrella of the AFCFTA agreement and joining the Directed Trade Initiative.
