Continuing the ongoing efforts and the distinguished relationships that link the Egypt–Africa Business Association with its strategic partners, and keen to strengthen cooperation with external entities, we have received an invitation from the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius in Cairo announcing several important government tenders, including the sanitation project in Palma, Quarter Burns, and Environ – Phase I (submission deadline: Monday, 16 March 2026), and a framework agreement for maintenance, development, repaving, and road construction in Rodrigues for three years (submission deadline: Tuesday, 03 March 2026). These tenders represent promising opportunities for Egyptian companies operating in general contracting, infrastructure, sanitation, road construction and maintenance, engineering consultancy, and supply of construction materials and equipment. Participation in these tenders will help strengthen the Egyptian presence in Mauritius’ development projects.
Objectives:
Encourage active participation: Motivate companies to submit their bids and compete for these projects.
Highlight profitability and investment value: Showcase the promising opportunities in contracting, infrastructure, sanitation, roads, engineering consultancy, and supply of materials and equipment.
Promote expansion in the Mauritian market: Increase the presence of Egyptian companies in development projects abroad.
Enhance cooperation and coordination among members: Facilitate member participation by providing the necessary support and information for successful submission.
