Counselor Ragy Nabil, the Egyptian ambassador to South Africa, thanked the association; for holding these seminars at a crucial period to support and enhance joint cooperation between Egypt and South Africa, Organizing the activities of this day to activate the great role that Egypt plays; To attract investments by setting investment incentives and economic reforms, Egypt has 104 million citizens and has a strategic location that facilitates trade exchange. It connects southern Europe and the Middle East with North Africa. It is an essential link between trade routes. Trade between Egypt and South Africa has been greatly affected by the lack of transportation to connect the two countries, and the volume of business between them has reached 1.6 percent of trade, reaching $6 billion over five years.
Joseph Magimba, Political Counselor at the South African Embassy in Cairo, stressed the strength of the relationship between Egypt and South Africa since the country’s independence and the strengthening of relations.
