El-Sharkawi explained that, in light of the current cooperation, he aims to By opening channels of communication between the two countries, the value of trade exchange between the two countries will reach; about a billion dollars in 3 years, Especially since the current values do not reflect the potential of the two countries, as they did not exceed $99.2 million during 10 months in 2019.

Olivia Quijngo confirmed, President of the Ugandan National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, On the existence of a desire to create effective communication in the financial, business and economic community of Africa to bring about a kind of rapprochement and increase knowledge of all economic and investment inputs in the two countries.

She mentioned the Chamber’s keenness, through conferences, symposiums and virtual workshops, for the Chamber’s members to participate as speakers in the association’s activities; Because this will help a lot in creating an atmosphere of introducing the trade and investment opportunities and the business climate from the two countries. Inviting the association to visit Uganda; To create and support the spirit of cooperation in a new and effective way.

Dr. Sherif Suleiman, head of the association’s export committee, stressed, The association was keen to knock on all doors and communicate with all partners in African countries; Let’s achieve unprecedented results in the continent’s market and with respect to Uganda in particular.

He noted that the most important Egyptian exports to Uganda include paper and its products, food products clinker, building materials, chemical and plastic products, steel plates, agricultural produce, Marble and granite.

Karim Al-Barqouqi, vice president of the association’s export committee, said: The visit of the Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Contractors Company, to Uganda, To participate in the ceremony honoring the Arab Contractors Company in Uganda as the best contracting company for the third year in a row, which had a great impact on strengthening the name of Egypt and its companies on Ugandan land.
