Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi stressed the importance of exchanging experiences with Mauritius in the fields of agriculture, health, education, industry, infrastructure, information, and communication systems. Stressing that Egypt has a tendency to expand investments in the African continent, The next future is African water security, achieving trade agreements, especially between the private sector in the countries of the African continent in general and Mauritius in particular; To facilitate the difficulties in the flow of joint investments.

ElSharkawi referred to the effort made by businessmen to reach a common distance to enhance joint African cooperation, Noting the achievements of Ambassador Alia Burhan in supporting the process of commercial cooperation between Egypt and Mauritius, He also valued the efforts of the Mauritius Economic Business Council to seek to enhance Egyptian-Mauritian-African cooperation, And the efforts of entrepreneurship institutions, welcoming them to their second country, Egypt, looking forward to advancing the process of cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two countries.

He declared that the Business Day between Egypt and Mauritius is an introductory meeting that opens the doors to more opportunities. Holding meetings and conducting a dialogue that contributes to promoting the establishment of joint projects, It removes obstacles to investments in the African continent and allows more cooperation with Mauritius in industry and agriculture, The continent that carries food to all parts of the world is still recovering manufactured materials, and the solution now is to invest in the African continent. And activating long-term financing means to support the industry in the African continent.

The Chairman of the Economic Development Board of Mauritius spoke about the importance of holding an orientation day on the Mauritius economy and presenting investment opportunities. Noting that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused many factories to stop, Most of the communications in the world have stopped, but Egypt is one of the countries that has been able to achieve growth rates, and Mauritius is seeking to benefit from the Egyptian expertise. and integration into the African market, Especially since Mauritius is a member of COMESA, It is a member of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).

The Ambassador of the State of Mauritius in Egypt reviewed the role of the African Economic Development Board in supporting trade cooperation between Egypt and Mauritius. He welcomed businessmen to stimulate investments and manage financial services that support the economy, Mauritius is seeking to exchange experiences with Egypt and pump more investments by businessmen and the private sector, Mauritius is distinguished by establishing trade relations with many Southeast Asian countries and Arab markets. It has good experiences in the food industry and we export to many countries, We look forward to more opportunities for trade exchange thanks to the efforts of businessmen in both countries.
