Association (EABA) maintains with its strategic partners, and in line with our keenness to enhance cooperation with external entities, we have received a notification from the Egyptian Commercial Office in Amman, Jordan, regarding the announcement of several important tenders in the electricity sector.
These include a tender entitled “Two Years Call-Off Contract for Supply of Rated 33kV, 1×500 mm² Al/XLPE/AWA/PVC Cable” for the Irbid Electricity Company (IDECO) in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, for a two-year supply contract to provide 33kV medium-voltage cables according to the approved technical specifications, in addition to another tender for the supply of three-phase smart electricity meters for one of Jordan’s electricity distribution companies.
This represents a strategic opportunity for Egyptian companies specializing in the manufacturing of electrical cables and smart meters to strengthen their presence in the Jordanian market and enter into contracts with major electricity distribution entities, especially given the ongoing demand for energy sector products. Accordingly, we invite companies operating in this sector to study these opportunities and participate in the tenders, supporting the increase of Egyptian exports and enhancing the Egyptian industrial presence in Arab markets.
