Guinea is a mineral-rich country, possessing an estimated one-quarter of the world’s reserves of bauxite, high-grade iron ore, large deposits of diamonds and gold, and unspecified amounts of uranium. Despite initial explorations showing potential mining opportunities for diamonds and coltan, there are no mining dealers, although there are small gold mining operations. In 1996, Equatorial Guinea discovered major oil reserves, a development that led to the country’s economic transformation. Over the past 20 years, the exploitation of Equatorial Guinea’s oil resources has been the mainstay of the country’s economic growth.

The idea of the workshop came as one of the executive activities within the framework of joint cooperation between the Egyptian African Businessmen Association (EABA) and the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority (ECS).

The association was invited to organize an event on the sidelines of the visit of the Vice President of Equatorial Guinea to Egypt with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations, particularly with regard to the implementation of infrastructure projects by Egyptian companies in Equatorial Guinea and the promotion of trade and investment cooperation between businessmen and investors between the two countries.Accordingly, we invite you to participate in the workshop to be held
