As an Export Sales Manager in the Elevators and Escalators sector, you will lead the international sales efforts to elevate our market presence globally. Your role will involve devising and executing strategic sales plans, fostering client relationships, and capitalizing on growth opportunities within the vertical transportation industry. Your proficiency in sales, market analysis, and industry knowledge will be pivotal in achieving revenue targets and contributing to our expansion into international markets.

Job Description
- Conduct market research to identify potential international markets and assess customer needs.
- Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and market expansion.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and partners.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to explore new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase products and services.
- Negotiate terms, contracts, and agreements with clients to secure sales deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing, production, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs, and documentation requirements.
- Generate sales reports and analyze performance against targets for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like marketing, production, and logistics.
- Develop sales forecasts and budgets while monitoring actual performance.
- Adapt sales strategies to cultural nuances and specific market conditions.
- Manage risks related to international sales, such as currency fluctuations and political instability.
- Train and mentor junior sales team members on effective strategies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of sales experience, preferably in international or engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in English and often other relevant languages.
- In-depth international market knowledge and cultural understanding.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities for team collaboration and guidance.
- Basic technical knowledge of engineering products.
- Familiarity with sales software, CRM systems, and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel internationally for business purposes.
- Ethical standards, adaptability, and attention to detail.
