Egyptians African participate in a conference organized by the Actritos Foundation – Ivory Coast

The Egyptian-African Businessmen Association is the strategic partner of the African Foundation, Ivory Coast. and its representative, CEO Barthelemy Kwame, The association participates in the presence of the chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi, In the activities of the conference and accompanying the African delegation in support of the joint Egyptian-African community work.

This edition is organized by the Actritos Foundation – Côte d’Ivoire, in cooperation with the African Development Bank – in the presence of high-level participants and speakers from Kenya and South Africa. ivory coast, and the African Development Bank.

Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi confirmed, that Egypt carried out an infrastructure reform that the world witnessed, Especially in the areas of roads and bridges, And it ended in 6 years adding 10,000 km of roads to the road network. And the rehabilitation of more than 3,000 km of roads, in addition to more than 130 bridges and a vital and important axis, the most prominent of which is the Rod al-Farag axis, which is one of the most important achievements in the hands and hands of Egyptians.

ElSharkawi announced that Egypt jumped from 118th to 25th in road quality levels, according to the Global International Competitiveness Report in the fields of roads and infrastructure. The statistics also proved that there is a decrease in road fatalities by nearly 44%. All this contributed to clarifying and demonstrating the size of the achievements made by Egypt in this field, in which investments exceeded 60 billion pounds.

In the same context, Barthelemy Kwame, CEO of the Ivorian Foundation, Ictrettos, confirmed: On the institution’s appreciation of what Egypt has done in this vital artery in the arteries of economic life, “We are an institution concerned with following up and evaluating infrastructure and road works on the continent,” he said. Like this conference and this audience, we will present the official announcement of the 2020 African Road Building Award to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, It was received by Ambassador Wael El-Badawy, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Côte d’Ivoire, for the important experience that Egypt had achieved in this field under his leadership, which we hope to convey to the African community and to be transmitted by African governments. This award is one of the high-level awards from the African Development Bank in the name of the President of the African Development Bank, Babacar Nadali. We will announce from Cairo this year’s award in this vital field.”

The chairman of the Businessmen Association indicated that the roads contributed to supporting the projects of the business community in various fields, whether in projects related to real estate investment or the establishment and construction of new communities. Or in the establishment of industrial zones, economic free zones and agricultural projects, and the ease of access to them, and movement between them, whether for goods or individuals, This affected the time, cost, fuel provision, and traffic flow in the center of the capital, which Cairo did not witness 50 years ago. All of this contributed to the rates of attracting foreign investment to Egypt, and Egypt became at the top of the African countries attracting investment.
