In a special statement from the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, She confirmed that she had received an invitation to attend the annual meeting of Afreximbank 2022 after a two-year hiatus, Emphasizing that she will participate in an important discussion session.
Elsharkawi confirmed that the meetings will discuss a number of main topics, Including activating the potential of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement, In the post-coronavirus era, And also as a way to transform into a changing world, Stressing that the sessions will discuss the future of economic integration on the continent, and ways to empower African youth, And take advantage of creative energies to achieve economic transformation.
ElSharkawi stressed the importance of these meetings in promoting international and regional integration, Increasing investments between Egypt and African countries, He pointed out that Afreximbank plays a major role in strengthening export relations between Egypt and African countries. The biggest proof of this is her continuous and fruitful cooperation with the association.
He stressed that the Assembly has a special session in the meetings, Under the title “Egypt’s Role in the Procedures for Implementing the Intra-African Free Trade Agreement” on 17June , It presents the vision of the Egyptian private sector and the African Export-Import Bank.
He added that the assembly will discuss during the session strengthening cooperation to support the African economy. Focusing on the role of women and empowering small and medium enterprises. and export its products to the depths of the African continent, and review the results of a survey of the private sector on trade and investment in the continent.
