With the aim of supporting industry and providing job opportunities…. “Egyptian African businessmen” signs a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Workers Group
The Egyptian Businessmen Association ?? Africans headed by Dr. “Yousrey El-Sharqawy” and “Egypt Workers Group for Industrial Services and Specialized Industries” headed by Engineer “Haitham Hussein” signed a joint cooperation protocol aimed at activating cooperation, providing information and data and exchanging experiences between the two parties and how to use this in marketing and provide opportunities Work, participation and cooperation between the two parties with all relevant Egyptian government agencies, all African embassies in Egypt and international organizations concerned with economic and commercial activities.
The protocol also aims to cooperate between the two parties in spreading the Egyptian-African economic, investment and commercial awareness, providing advisory and technical services on the Egyptian and African market, cooperating in activating export operations and marketing industrial products to African countries, and working to attract businessmen to invest in African countries and open projects to support the African economy and joint cooperation. And the two parties’ participation in supporting the file of African women’s empowerment and their entry into the industrial market, entrepreneurship and digital transformation.
Dr. Yousrey El-Sharqawy explained that the productive economy based on industry, agriculture and services is the only way to launch the national economy and bring about a real leap and development in the country, stressing that this will only be achieved by paying attention to the industrial orientation and that without training, qualification and qualified, mechanized and updated centers we will not achieve anything.
He added that Egypt ?? and Africa desperately need the presence of trained and qualified labor and the exploitation of the youth in it, whose numbers reach 60% of the population, stressing that the brown continent is one of the richest regions in the world with its wealth and that this must be exploited.
He referred to the Egyptian Workers Group ?? and how it created, through a group of young people, a base for training and qualifying young people to work, stressing the importance of training and qualification to feed small and medium enterprises and large industrial projects with the necessary employment.
He stressed that there are no countries in the world that have witnessed development and progress without their success in creating agriculture, industry and export, stressing that the problem of the world as a whole is in [the secret of craftsmanship] and that this will only be reached through institutes and research and applied scientific centers to transform scientific thought into application.
He stressed that Egypt imports more than 65 billion dollars annually and that scientific research should work on those products to reduce the import bill, stressing that our crisis lies in the existence of a gap between the outputs of scientific research and the production market, graduates and the labor market.
He added that linking research with application is the way that contributed to the progress of many peoples, the most important of which are Malaysia and Europe.
He stressed that paying attention to small and medium enterprises and taking the necessary mechanisms to push them along with developing the performance of exports is the most important way to protect the economy from entering into future crises, suggesting the need to find a direction in coordination with the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade to find spaces for the products of small business owners in consumer complexes to help them market products.
He said that Africa imported from the world during the past year 2019, an estimated 567 billion dollars, of which Egypt exported about 4.8 billion dollars, equivalent to less than 1%, stressing that the brown continent is full of opportunities for various Egyptian industries that must be exploited.
Haitham Hussein talked about the steps of establishing the Egypt Workers Group and how he started his first steps in 2010 until he succeeded in establishing an entity that deals with many major industrial companies.
