Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, Chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, participated in the launch of the largest press conference in Istanbul to announce the “Afex24” edition – with the attendance of more than 100 major Turkish companies and a large number of Turkish and international media. “Afex” is the largest African-Turkish gathering organized annually by the Turkish-African Businessmen Association, which is the strategic partner of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association and the partner of this edition for the first time, which will be launched next November with the identity of “Turkish – Egyptian – African” and will target the broad participation of 800 Turkish companies and investors and 1300 major companies and African investors between manufacturers and traders Investors and this version will be launched between November 11-13 in the Turkish capital Istanbul in a diverse version between a large exhibition, bilateral meetings, round tables and workshops. This version will be launched under the joint sponsorship of the Turkish-African Businessmen Association and the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association. For the first time, the organization is assigned to two companies, one of which is Turkish, Kian Predixion Company and the other is Egyptian, one of the companies of the Egyptian MHZ International Group, headed by Eng. Mohamed Ali Saad, is one of the diverse trade, investment and technology groups and one of the members of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association. It was represented in this event by the financial advisor, Shehab Fikry, the group’s financial and administrative advisor. During the conference, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, Chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, told the Turkish and international press and media that we are very happy with this cooperation and that the Turkish and Egyptian private sectors are able to expand joint work, trade and investment, and that the state of rapprochement between the two countries and the understanding that has occurred is the most important motivation for us to put and harness all our capabilities in order to achieve the goals that the leaders of the two countries want to achieve, and that the dream of achieving 15 billion in trade exchange is not difficult, and that we look forward to achieving together in Africa 150 billion dollars within 3 years, and we are a representative part of a large private sector in the two countries that carry the tools of economic success and have the same destiny and face the same challenges together. El-Sharkawi pointed out that our association has become one of the most important entities and groups within the African financial and business community, and we are adopting a new approach in coordination with business partners outside the African continent, and Turkey is at the forefront of the countries that we always aim to cooperate with its private sector in order to integrate joint African work, and that we have distinguished members in the association and diverse groups of elite investors and traders, and we are ready To cooperate in a way that achieves the interests of all, stressing that the continent is the continent of opportunities and requires our presence.

For his part, Mr. Al-Fatih Akkopolat, Chairman of the Turkish-African Association, confirmed that he is very happy to work with the Egyptian side, and he has a strong request and desire through the Turkish private sector community to get closer and deal with the Egyptian and African counterparts, and that they, as an association, with their relations within Africa and communication with more than 7,000 Turkish companies, wish to take Egypt as a strong manufacturing and production base to launch from Egypt and between the movement from Egypt and Turkey, serious results can be achieved for both countries in the markets of Africa and Europe, and he expressed his hope that the next edition of AFEX in November will witness a state of momentum, convergence, and prosperity and the emergence of deals, numbers and positive results between the three parties “Turkey – Egypt – African countries”
