The Egyptian-African Businessmen’s Association headed by Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi organized Unconventional visit and meeting, Within the activities of the Agriculture Committee of the Assembly, Organized by Dr. Adel Al-Ghandour, Chairman of the Committee, With the participation of the Ambassador of Cameroon in Cairo, Dr. Mohamedou Labarang, Engineer Hussein Al-Ghazawi, Chairman of the Energy Committee, And Eng. Magdy Fanous, Chairman of the Planning and Follow-up Committee, And Eng. Mohamed Sabah, Vice-Chairman of the International Trade and Government Relations Committee, and a group of committee members.
The meeting took place inside the Ahmed Orabi Association in North Cairo – at the headquarters of Ghandour Farms farms. On a field tour, the attendees got acquainted with the agricultural production complex. Divided into units for the production of indoor and outdoor ornamental plants and the production of seedlings and agricultural products from leafy vegetables using the hydroponic system – with a visit to the agricultural research laboratory, as well as maintenance and production workshops for tools, machines and spare parts.
ElSharkawi praised the efforts of the workers in the agricultural production complex. and those responsible for it, He stressed that the effort to increase production is clear to everyone.
Before the end of the meeting, the attendees held a complex meeting in which they reviewed the association’s work strategy with the African continent in the agricultural field, what are the challenges and how to overcome them, and work on non-traditional systems, events and activities that ensure the creation of a kind of partnership between the private sector in Egypt and African countries in a way that creates models for projects On the ground in some African countries, Then it is expanded and launched.
Before the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees agreed to organize meetings with some agricultural investors from members of the association and from the public health sector with the Ambassador of Cameroon to present opportunities for cooperation ready to work between the two countries.
