In continuation of the ongoing efforts, activities, and distinguished relationships that the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) maintains with its strategic partners, and in light of the keen interest of various external entities in collaborating with the association and its members, we have received an invitation from the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones, in cooperation with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency and the Environmental Performance Unit at the General Organization for Standardization and Quality, to attend the
Environmental Sustainability and Egyptian Exports Conference: Towards a Low-Carbon Economy.
The conference aims to address environmental sustainability issues in the industrial sector, with a particular focus on carbon footprint, climate change, and the environmental challenges facing Egyptian exports. Key topics include the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the voluntary carbon market, green technology, renewable energy, and the circular economy. Additionally, the conference will cover environmental impact assessment procedures, cleaner production, and environmental management in industrial cities, along with an overview of waste management laws and licensing to support the transition towards a green economy.
