A cooperation protocol between the Egyptian African Businessmen Association and the Baheya Foundation contributes to the development of healthcare services provided to women in Egypt and Africa.

In continuation of the ongoing efforts and activities, and the distinguished relationships that link the Egyptian African Businessmen Association with its strategic partners, and in which some external entities are keen to cooperate with the association and its members, a cooperation protocol was signed today between the Egyptian African Businessmen Association and Baheya Hospitals and Medical Centers for the early detection and treatment of breast cancer in women. The signing ceremony of the protocol was held this morning between Dr. Yousry El Sharkawy, President of the Egyptian African Businessmen Association, and Engineer Geilan Felfela, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Baheya Foundation.
In addition to a number of prominent figures from both sides, including Dr. Mohamed Atef, Head of Business Development for the Baheya Hospitals and Centers Group, members of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian African Businessmen Association, and the heads of the committees.

 

This cooperation comes within the framework of the Egyptian African Businessmen Association’s commitment to collaborating with charitable and healthcare institutions in Egypt, and enhancing its role in serving the community, promoting economic and social development, empowering women in Africa, and supporting medical tourism.

Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, chairman of EABA stated that the signing of this protocol comes as part of the association’s commitment to realizing its vision of enhancing joint cooperation with leading national institutions such as the Baheya Foundation, to achieve the goals of sustainable development. He also expressed his happiness with this fruitful cooperation.

El-Sharkawi emphasized that this step will contribute to improving the level of healthcare services provided to women in Egypt and Africa. He added that the association intends to organize joint awareness campaigns with the Baheya Foundation to increase awareness of the risks of breast cancer and the importance of early detection. This will be done through awareness-raising events and activities in various governorates.

In conclusion, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi expressed his great optimism about the expected positive outcomes of this cooperation. Stressing that the Egyptian African Businessmen Association has a vision it is working towards, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi affirmed that certainly, with cooperation with Baheya Hospital, the desired results will be achieved.

He also called on all entities and institutions to enhance cooperation and solidarity to achieve a better future for society. Through joint initiatives and sustainable development projects.

After the signing ceremony, Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and coordination to achieve common goals. And expanding the scope of support to include other aspects such as education, vocational training, and community rehabilitation.

It is worth mentioning that the EABA plays a prominent role in supporting and developing economic and social relations between Egypt and African countries. It always seeks to enhance cooperation with various national institutions to achieve sustainable development in Egypt and the African continent.

In turn, Baheya Foundation, on the other hand, is one of the foremost charitable institutions in Egypt dedicated to combating breast cancer and providing support and healthcare for affected women. It has succeeded in achieving numerous accomplishments in this field since its establishment.
