The activities of the Egyptian Industry Ambassadors Initiative were launched a short while ago, which comes within the intensive program of activities adopted by the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, within the week of activities of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2023), the third edition of which Egypt is hosting in Cairo.
The activities of the Egyptian Industry Ambassadors Initiative today come within the framework of the fifth day, which began with the presidential session chaired by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the official opening and inspection of the exhibition,,
Since early morning, all preparations have been made to implement the initiative program, which targets two important industrial zones in the Arab Republic of Egypt, one of which is linked in the mind of the world and the continent to the Suez Canal. The industrial zone in Suez was chosen to visit the three most important major factories, and the other is linked to Egyptian cotton and to restore the identity of Egypt’s industrial name, which is the Gharbia Governorate ( Castles of industry) historically for rates, small machines, and various cotton products
In this context, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharqawi, chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, confirmed that we were keen for the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association to be a leader in field visits to the industrial community in particular, out of our belief that good export comes from promotion from within the industrial units for realistic definition on the ground. With the Egyptian industry and the ability of the Egyptian state and the embodiment of its industrial soft power, and we planned in this version to implement it through two intensive programs, in our visit to the Suez industrial zone – a visit to modern factories for food products – and the “Score” group factory, the newest and largest factory in the Middle East for the production of artificial grass and sports supplies – Watching the Suez Canal in the transit area for commercial ships, watching the navigational work of the international trade system, and opinion polls with our African brothers highlighted their request during the preparation of the program that the second Suez Canal be at the forefront as a basic symbol and a distinctive sign of Egypt.
El-Sharqawi pointed out that there are more than 100 African businessmen, women and entrepreneurs from 16 countries with us today on the Suez industrial trip. They came as guests in their country, Egypt. We are trying to offer them everything so that they can actually be buyers and traders with us, and more importantly, that they actually be ambassadors of the Egyptian industry. And we will move tomorrow to the city of Tanta and Mahalla, which has prepared well to receive these guests. The Governor Minister, Dr. Tariq Rahmi, has provided all the preparations and facilities to prepare for the delegation’s visit within this effective initiative – as well as Mahalla businessmen, led by Representative Mahmoud Al-Shami, and with him is the businessman Muhammad Fathi Abu Al-Fath, a member of the Chamber’s Council.
