In the presence of representatives of embassies and multidisciplinary delegations, the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association is organizing a series of bilateral meetings with delegations of 3 important African countries (Senegal – Uganda – Malawi).
Jointly organized by the Egyptian African Businessmen Association, the Embassy of Senegal in Cairo, the Embassy of Malawi in Cairo, and the Embassy of Uganda in Cairo, these meetings come within the framework of the continuous strengthening of trade and economic relations between Egypt and these partner African countries.
The goal of these meetings revolves around enhancing bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and trade, providing a platform to discuss joint investment opportunities and developing strategies to increase trade exchange between Egypt and the participating African countries.
It is expected that concrete recommendations will be presented to government agencies with the aim of simplifying procedures and enhancing the investment environment in these countries, during the activities of the third day of the Intra-African Trade Fair, on Saturday, November 11, 2023.
Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association and Egypt’s Ambassador to this edition of the Intra-African Trade Exhibition, said: It is with great pride that we are meeting here today to work on strengthening economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and important African countries. This event comes in the context of Joint efforts to strengthen ties between our country and our partners on the African continent.
We are committed to achieving important goals during this exhibition, including promoting joint investments and providing a better environment for business and trade. In this context, we will work seriously to provide recommendations and solutions that contribute to achieving these goals and enhancing the investment environment in the partner countries.
We relied a lot on this event to consolidate partnerships and strengthen ties between Egypt and the countries of the African continent. We look forward to seeing positive results reflected in economic and trade cooperation between the participating parties.
This step comes within the framework of Egypt’s strategy aimed at expanding and strengthening its relations with the countries of the African continent and enhancing trade exchange and joint investment between African countries.
