The Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, headed by Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, held a meeting of the Industry Committee of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, in the presence of the Chairman of the Industry Committee in the House of Representatives, Representative Moataz Mohamed Mahmoud, and members of the committee from the honorable deputies and industrialists, and in the presence of the head of the Industry Committee of the Association, M. Mohamed Foley, and the vice-head of the committee, Dr. Engineer Irini Michel Sadek.
As usual, and within the framework of the important tradition that the association follows with the necessity of effective work on the ground and the achievement of complex goals in the business community, the meeting was held at the headquarters of the “Three Brothers” lighting company, which is one of the industrial castles in the tenth of Ramadan city.
During the meeting, the most important concerns and problems of the Egyptian industry and manufacturers were reviewed, as well as mechanisms, methods and methodologies for exporting Egyptian manufactured products to the African side, as well as the possibility of civil society participation on an effective and real basis in a serious societal dialogue with deputies to establish serious policies that emerge from effective effective solutions, laws and decisions close to applied reality. .. The meeting resulted in many recommendations, with which a working paper will be sent to the Industry Committee of the Council, and it was agreed on mechanisms for work and periodic follow-up between the two sides, as well as preparing for an important event in the near future that will be announced to serve, support and promote Egyptian industries with added value
For his part, Dr. Yousry Al-Sharqawi, President of the Association, stated that our meeting today with the Industry Committee in the House of Representatives is based on our belief that industry and agriculture are one way to a sustainable economy and stability. And effective, and this is the second committee after the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee in the Council, which we are keen to meet in two months in a plan that aims the public interest of the Egyptian financial and business community in facing challenges.
