Yesterday in Cairo, the effectiveness of the first workshop was concluded, which was held with the participation of businessmen from the Egyptian and Sudanese private sectors residing in Egypt.
30 of the elite businessmen of the two countries participated in this event in the sectors of agriculture, food security, production of agricultural crops, as well as the field of building materials, construction, construction, contracting, the industrial sector in various specializations, the public health sector and the energy sectors, in the presence and participation of the African Development Bank.
The meeting began with the speech of the President of the Association, Dr. Yousrey El-Sharqawi, in which he emphasized that the Egyptian and Sudanese private sectors are one team and one fabric, and that the invitation to this important event is just the beginning of a new and long road in which we build a solid relationship based on the common interests of the private sector in times of crisis and looks forward to establishing an effective partnership that extends It plans for the post-crisis phase and aims to join the efforts of the two parties in the two countries to solve the problems and overcome the difficulties facing the brothers from the Sudanese private sector who were forced by circumstances to move to Egypt with their businesses and families, and how it can find ways of cooperation to make “Cairo” the headquarters and the commercial and investment center for the private sector of the two countries and launch in a unified manner towards African continent to complete cooperation and trade and economic exchange with our African brothers
Everyone spoke during the meeting and the additions and words were rich, honest and transparent and opened horizons to multiple and diverse areas of cooperation and showed intellectual integration and full readiness to overcome this difficult stage, and how through executive steps it is possible to work hard to come up with an effective, fruitful and transparent cooperation that achieves the desired goals, and I unanimously commended the attendees from the Sudanese side that What Egypt has provided and President Sisi has presented to the sons of the brotherly Sudan in these difficult circumstances, and this is the era of Sudan and its sons in Egypt, the Great House
The event concluded with ten important recommendations, foremost of which was the establishment of the first joint working group (ESPS – THINK TANK) Egyptian Sudanese private sector think tank, consisting of 20 active members. This team is in a permanent state of meeting to present visions and ideas, link partnerships, solve problems and a bridge of communication that sets a clear vision and goals, develops them and supervises their implementation and achievement. Recommendations also came out that this team should communicate with the people of Sudan abroad from investors, professionals and experts in order to discuss how to seriously cooperate with the Ali brothers The land of Egypt, as well as how to activate Cairo as an important trade point for both sides and a key to the world and how to employ Sudanese relations as a gateway to Africa and neighboring countries, as well as the need to start preparing databases for Sudanese in Egypt as well as the available investment and commercial opportunities and what can be employed and exploited for the benefit of the economy of the two countries, as everyone emphasized in the recommendations on The need to unite to solve all the challenges, difficulties and problems that may face the success of these serious ideas, in order to maintain the link between the economy and trade of the two countries, which exceeded 1.5 billion dollars before the crisis.
