Believing in creating an attractive climate for investment and finding many incentives and mechanisms to solve investors’ problems, including mediation as a mechanism for amicable settlement of disputes because of its speed, low cost, flexibility, and maintaining the continuity of commercial relations within a framework of confidentiality, so that disputes are resolved within a period not exceeding a few days.
We have received from The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones and the Investor Dispute Settlement Center of the General Authority for Investment, in cooperation with the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration, An invitation to invite the association members to attend a seminar entitled “Strengthening the Role of Mediation and Amicable Settlement of Disputes between Investors” to be held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
The symposium aims to enhance the role of mediation in the field of investment with the exchange of experiences and information between the various parties to the business community in Egypt, including lawyers and legal advisors, to encourage the use of mediation in Egypt and resolve commercial disputes quickly.
