Mokhtar Tawfik, head of the Egyptian Tax Authority, confirmed that December 31, 2022, is the last date for companies bound to join the eighth phase of the electronic bill system, while next April 30 is set as the last date for registering individual entities in the electronic bill system. This is in light of their inquiries, which reflect their need for an additional period to absorb the established procedures and rules, and the important advantages accruing to them as long as they demanded their approval.
