This comes in fulfillment of the orientations of the Egyptian political leadership and the support that President Sisi is doing to enhance the participatory capabilities of the continent. For this principle, from which the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, headed by Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, derives its vision and many events in Egypt and the African continent.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghandour is scheduled to talk about irrigation systems for potato production, In a lecture entitled “Using Drip Irrigation Systems and Improving Irrigation Management in Potato Production” Al-Ghandour stressed that Egypt has a vision to develop the irrigation system and modernize irrigation methods. Pointing to the need to transfer Egyptian expertise in agriculture to the rest of the continent, Emphasizing the importance of switching to modern irrigation systems.
Al-Ghandour stressed the enormous benefits that will accrue to the continent in increasing productivity through the transition to modern irrigation systems. He referred to the successful experiences of irrigation in the ancient Egyptian lands and the shift from flood irrigation systems to drip irrigation, Pointing out the importance of such conferences to benefit from the experiences of countries; To increase the area of agriculture and reclaim new lands, Stressing that the African continent has 930 million hectares of arable land, More than half of it cannot be exploited.
Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association,stressed that That the association is interested in finding realistic and sustainable solutions, especially in the issues that constitute the priority of African countries, This calls for strengthening African cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security.
Elsharkawi pointed out that Africa has a huge wealth of untapped land, Stressing that Africa is rich in large arable land, Where it is sufficient to eliminate the problem of food security on the continent, Stressing that all we need is to apply the latest methods in this field, He added that the African continent is in urgent need to improve agricultural technologies; to ensure food security.
