They extended an invitation to the association and its members to visit Senegal very close to getting to know the land on all the investment and commercial opportunities in Senegal, listing many advantages, and new incentive packages for investment in Senegal, stressing that Senegal is a key to covering many landlocked countries and neighboring markets, and that the investment sector in Senegal is witnessing a new boom, Especially since Senegal is one of the stable countries in terms of security and politics. It has many opportunities in the sectors of health, agriculture, food security, energy and tourism.

Dr. Yousry Elsharkawi expressed his thanks and gratitude for the interest of the Republic of Senegal in the cooperation of the African private sector, Which finds a good resonance with the association, its members, affiliates and offices spread in more than 18 countries across the continent. Likewise, this gives hope to owners of small and micro enterprises and entrepreneurs in the possibility of cross-border communication, This will have a great impact in supporting the activation and achieving new positive results in activating the Intra-African Free Trade Agreement.

Elsharkawi affirmed the association’s keenness to stand as an effective economic supporter and assistant to African leaders in facing challenges, the most important of which is unemployment. lack of employment opportunities, How can the African private sector make an important stride in this regard? And how to create direct and continuous linkage between the various economic competencies in Egypt, Senegal and the rest of the African continent.

ELSharkawi expressed his aspiration to complete the agricultural cooperation file at the level of the private sector, specifically in some important commodities such as: yellow corn, wheat, And some crops of added value and comparative advantage in the two countries, He stressed the request of many Egyptian companies from members of the association for quotations for yellow corn, given Egypt’s need for these products specifically in the animal feed production sectors.

During the meeting, Elsharkawi confirmed accepting the invitation of the Senegalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to visit Senegal. He said, “We will set a date soon during this year in order to prepare a visit for a delegation of members of the association from various sectors.” We will coordinate with the association’s offices in Tunisia and Algeria; To prepare a visit in the same period and the same period for a group of distinguished businessmen in these countries so that we all meet on the land of Senegal with a group of Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria and Senegal, Through which interviews can be conducted, information is provided and the communication is converged, which will effectively achieve joint investments and business opportunities.
