The Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association, headed by Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, organized a visit to the Senegalese Ambassador, Abu Bakr Sar, and an accompanying delegation to EGEMAC, as a shining national model in the energy and electricity sector.
At the beginning of the visit, EGEMAC made a presentation on its activities, partnerships and products, and there were many discussions between the association’s delegation, the Senegalese ambassador and the company’s leaders, which included some points related to the distribution of electric power in Senegal.
Engineer Medhat Ramadan, President of EGEMAC, welcomed the Senegalese ambassador and the accompanying delegation, expressing his desire to cooperate with the State of Senegal for the distribution of electric power there, stressing that the company has great experience that spanned for years, and we are working on joint cooperation in various voltage transformers, and to repeat the experience of EGEMAC in African countries. different countries, especially Senegal.
Engineer Medhat Ramadan also confirmed the start of coordination with the association; To receive African students for training in the company as a matter of social responsibility, and stressed the need to open channels of communication between Egypt and Senegal in the electricity sector.
The Senegalese ambassador stressed that Egypt is leading the development engine through its cadres in all fields, stressing the great development that he has noticed in all fields, and clarified that he wants to benefit from the experience of the Egyptian people and their human energies, especially in the field of electric power.
He praised Egypt’s great leaps in performance rates, as well as the success of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association in presenting a bright image of the Egyptian industry, stressing that Egypt and Senegal have close relations, as an agreement in the field of energy was signed months ago between the President of Egypt and the President of Senegal; To develop and develop the electricity field in Senegal.
The Senegalese ambassador concluded his speech by inviting the leaders of EGEMAC and the association’s delegation to visit Senegal and activate cooperation between the two countries as soon as possible.
Elsharkawi stressed that this visit comes within the framework of the association’s keenness to support and exchange experiences between Egyptian companies and the countries of the continent in all fields, especially the fields of electricity manufacturing, declaring the association’s coordination with a number of African countries to support cooperation in the fields of electric energy.
Elsharkawi added that the association is keen to be present in Senegal through many activities, stressing that the beginning will be in the field of energy, and stressed that Egyptian companies need confidence to launch deep into the African continent.
In his speech, Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi praised the giant efforts made by the Senegalese ambassador, and praised the huge achievements carried out by EGEMAC. El-Sharkawy said, “There are many determinants of industrial investment that we must work on together and pave the way for governments represented in their embassies.”
During the visit to EGEMAC, the delegation visited the company’s factory to discover the production capacity of the Egyptian factories, and the attendees discussed how to develop a road map for working with the private and public sectors.
