Afreximbank headquarters in Cairo hosted an important meeting that brings together the three strongest arms to support the future of African youth, bringing together representatives of: Afreximbank, Senghor University, and the Egyptian-African Businessmen’s Association, within the framework of joint cooperation in these important sectors, and exploring investment opportunities between them.

At the beginning of the meeting, each of the three parties introduced themselves and their institution, Professor Ayman Al-Zoghbi, Head of the Intra-African Trade Finance Sector -Afreximbank, Dr. Terry Werdl, President of Senghor University, Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen’s Association.

The attendees discussed how to cooperate between the three parties, with the aim of supporting communication between Senghor University students, who are students from all African countries, and engaging them in the Egyptian business and financial community through training programs and employing the skills of African youth inside Egypt.

Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi expressed his happiness with this meeting, stressing the relations between the association, Afreximbank, and Senghor University, based on strong foundations built through previous meetings; To strengthen and expand those relationships

He stressed that he seeks through the meeting to exchange views and ideas on how to strengthen these relations to live up to the ambitions of the university students, adding that the association has capabilities that qualify it to implement training programs for the youth of the continent, and stressed that the association wishes to provide all forms of support to Senghor University students, so that participation can participate Preparing an elite group of future cadres.

It was agreed that the three parties would participate in many programs and events that are planned according to a timetable and will be announced soon.
