African Egyptians on a visit to Arabsat

Fahd Al-Abd Al-Aal, Regional Director of the Cairo Office of the Arab Satellite Communications Corporation, received Arabsat, Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi, chairman of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, Dr. Dalia Abul-Magd, Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Governmental Relations and Communication Affairs of the Association, Arabsat headquarters in Media Production City.

The meeting discussed aspects of supporting joint work between the two sides to serve the investment and information and communication technology sectors.

Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi said that after an extensive meeting between the business community and Arabsat, in which the two sides discussed ways to support joint work to serve the investment and information technology and communication sectors in the continent, It was agreed on aspects and axes of infrastructure development, and digital transformation in Africa.

chairman of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association declared, The joining of an alliance of 16 major investment and business companies in communications technologies, service providers, software, digitization, electronic infrastructure and diversified media, led by Arabsat. To membership in the Association between active and legal membership, This is within the Committee on Digital Transformation, Information Technology and Communication Technology of the Association

chairman of the association said, That the agreement to sign an expanded joint cooperation protocol achieves the goal of the expansion and presence of the Arabsat Alliance and its multiple and powerful companies within the African countries, The Foundation (Arabsat) and its alliances provide all support for the various activities of the association that serve the Arab and African financial and business community.

Sharkawi said, We are working hard to support the telecommunications and information technology sector, and this is what the African continent needs, and it will only be achieved with the active and serious participation of the private and investment sector, by working on all governmental and non-governmental axes, and this is the role of business organizations that serve the African financial and business community

the regional director of the Cairo office of the Arab Satellite Communications Corporation “Arabsat” said, We hope to achieve a new boom of effective partnerships in this vital sector within the African markets, which are promising markets and we are able to penetrate strongly in light of the difficult competition.

Dr. Mona Murad Director of the Executive Office for Egypt and Africa at the Foundation,confirmed, The joining of (Arabsat Alliance) with its companies to the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, It came after studying and following up on all the civil society channels operating in the African depth. And it desires to achieve tangible success, which is consistent with the institution’s goal and its future expansion plans in these important sectors that serve the African economy.
