EABA visited the Ministry of Public Business Sector

A delegation from the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association Headed by Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi,visited, Minister of Public Business Sector.

Elsharkawi led the delegation accompanying him. whom: The Secretary-General of the Association and the heads of the Committees for Transport, Logistics, Export, International Trade, Foreign Relations and African Women, members of the board of directors of the association, Where he reviewed the ministry’s serious and continuous steps in developing public business sector companies and the “Jousour” project and the importance of this to serve the economy.

Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, said: Josoor project is a promising future for the presence of all Egyptian products in the depths of the African continent.

He pointed out the possibility of cooperating with various institutions to penetrate deep into Africa. He stressed that Josoor will provide its electronic services to provide complete and practical solutions to serve owners of small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs wishing to export to the African continent.

Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi, head of the association, pointed out that the state’s interest in serious dialogue with serious organizations, intellectuals, and modernity in developing the Egyptian-African partnership supports the role of the Egyptian state and the orientations of the political leadership in promoting joint African action.

He reviewed the objectives and activities of the association and the effective communication it has achieved on the ground for many African countries, capitals and cities, as well as the presence of representative offices of the association in the depth of the continent in a systematic plan of action that highlights the role of the association in delivering the Egyptian product and the Egyptian investor to the African continent. The private sector contributes to supporting the building of the modern state.

The meeting witnessed a discussion of the opportunities, challenges and obstacles presented from the viewpoint of the private sector, which must be taken into consideration. To ensure the success of Jusoor’s idea and the importance of strategic coordination with the transport and logistics sectors, as well as banks, insurance and export guarantee, This is in order to remove many of the problems that prevented a lot from entering the Egyptian product and receiving raw materials and commodities from the African continent in a way that ensures achieving the goals and reducing transportation costs, which will have a positive impact on the success of the plan.

It is worth mentioning that the Josoor project provides a package of logistical services to make it easier for small exporters to reach their products to foreign markets.

Services include storage, insurance, financing and collection, in addition to providing installment sales. During the conference, the minister confirmed that protocols had been signed with chambers of commerce, small and medium enterprises, 10 export councils, and the National Enterprise Development Authority to support the initiative by introducing members to these entities.
