Al-Ahram Agricultural Conference for Agricultural Development

The Egyptian-African Businessmen Association Headed by Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi,participated, At the opening of the activities of the first Al-Ahram Agricultural Exhibition and Conference for Agricultural Development and Technology, which is currently being held in Cairo in its first edition, On 10Aug

This came in the presence of the Ministers of Supply and Agriculture, Dr. Ali Mselhi, Mr. Syed Al-Qusayr, Mr. Abdel Mohsen Salama, Chairman of the Al-Ahram Board of Directors, and Mr. Alaa Thabet, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Ahram, Major General Hamdi Badin, President of the National Fisheries Company, And many African ambassadors at the invitation of the association, the strategic partner of the conference, and a group of major agricultural companies and institutions, investors in the agricultural sector, and many members of the association.

The Al-Ahram Agricultural Conference for Development and Agricultural Technology witnessed number of events, Under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, And in the presence of Mr. Al Qaseer, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Ali Al Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade.

This came in the presence of Engineer AbdelSadiq AlShorbagy. Chairman of the National Press Association, and journalist Abdel Mohsen Salama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahram Foundation, and journalist Maged Mounir, Editor-in-chief of “Al-Ahram and Al-Ahram Evening Gate” And writer Alaa Thabet, editor-in-chief of Al-Ahram. With the participation of 70 companies and organizations representing various agricultural activities of agricultural production, fishery, industrial and agricultural requirements.

Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi said, In today’s statement: “We have partnered with Al-Ahram as an ancient and advanced institution that has its standing and its legacy in Egypt and the African continent in terms of journalistic, media, marketing and advertising work, Through such exhibitions, we seek to transfer technology, modernity and the Egyptian experience in multi-dimensional reforms, the most important of which is the agricultural sector, which is the mainstay of food security. We can advance the Egyptian-African rapprochement by encouraging cooperation between the private and governmental sectors to enhance agricultural investments within the continent, employing all means of technology and modern technologies, making use of all the available resources in the agriculturally colored continent, and this is a real bridge for the Egyptian-African rapprochement through bridges of agricultural development.”

The conference devoted an expanded session to discussing everything related to finance, insurance and modern technology in the agricultural sector. A review of bank financing opportunities and the role of donors by Egyptian and international institutions to support small farmers, And discuss insurance on agricultural crops to face the risks of investing in the agricultural sector.
