Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi confirmed, On the importance of joint African action to enhance the capabilities of the African continent by pumping intra-African investments, The role of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association is to review the opportunities and experiences of success on the continent. “Today, we present successful experiences of Egyptian businessmen inside Senegal,” he said. Which is one of the most important countries in West Africa, It has opportunities in multiple sectors and different activities. We have an experience presented by the representative of the association in Senegal and Zambia; Because it is time to create successful opportunities for investment and we have successful and effective experiences among the African private sector in the fields of shipping, construction, construction and communications.

The attendees reviewed the Egyptian success stories eligible for cooperation with Senegal, And the experience of launching the Covid-19 vaccine to achieve Egypt’s vision to meet the needs of the continent, We also review the experience of electric and renewable energy carried out by an Egyptian company in Senegal, and it received a good response from businessmen in Senegal.

Dr. Hatem Raslan referred to some examples of Egyptian-Senegalese cooperation, Like: Establishing a factory for the production of stoves in cooperation with the Universal Company in Senegal, And the study of the Arab factory to establish a factory for screens, Especially since the Senegalese market is witnessing stability that enhances investment efforts and provides unprecedented opportunities and support for investors in complementary industries. There is encouragement for businessmen to invest in agricultural and industrial, Senegal, with a population of 16 million, has registered a growth rate of 6%. It is a modern country and has good relations with the rest of African countries. It is a commercial center for many African countries. Its laws allow trade exchange with Mali and Zambia. We have successful experiences in Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau.

Mr. Momodou Jatia, the representative of the association in the State of Senegal, affirmed that Senegalese businessmen welcome investment opportunities with Egypt, cooperate through national and regional media platforms, and promote companies located in Zambia and Senegal. As scheduled, the Senegalese Day events are dedicated to showcasing successful experiences and exploring how we are moving forward in Africa.

The association is trying to start a series of companies and projects in the Senegalese market. Creating opportunities for cooperation to develop trade and the business sector to raise opportunities for investment growth and expansion of our business on the continent, We communicate with businessmen investing in the Senegalese market, which is characterized by the diversity of its products. And some neighboring countries depend on it to shop for goods. Senegal is a market that extends to neighboring countries. It has manpower that is not expensive and there are geographically distinct areas that allow the establishment of distinct commercial areas on the continent.

Jean-Claude Nagoum reviewed the opportunities of trade and marketing in Senegal and submitted an invitation to participate in the trade conference held in Senegal from 6-20 September 2021 to exchange experiences with Senegalese businessmen, as it is a scientific forum for presenting business and exchanging experiences.
