The conference stressed the importance of rapprochement in supporting entrepreneurship and African-African communication. The strategic goal is to reach all African countries, Creating an integrated and diversified work environment that links the entire African continent together. and re-establishing friendships for investment and economic cooperation, take advantage of success stories in rapprochement; To strengthen African relations with other countries outside Africa.
El-Sharkawi indicated that the time has come to build Africa together. We implement the terms of the free trade agreement signed by the countries of the continent. We create jobs, generate entrepreneurs and promote the sustainable development of the 320 million Africans looking for work over the next 30 years.
The conference discussed the foundations on which convergence should be established, how to start, and the challenges facing entrepreneurs in the continent. We will send the conference recommendations to the decision maker, and the African Union, and universities responsible for education in Africa.
A number of experts and technocrats participated in the conference. and entrepreneurs from Morocco, Germany, America, Kenya, Egypt and Ghana, There are thousands of young people from the continent who came to register, attend and follow up.
ElSharkawi confirmed, 22% of the total working-age population in Africa start their own businesses, and this percentage is one of the highest rates in the world.
Sharkawy pointed out, The continent also has the highest rates of female entrepreneurship in the world, About 27% of the total number of women on the continent participate in entrepreneurial activities. In addition, the continent has promising opportunities in doubling these numbers with the expectations of a rising population, Especially the youth and the high population numbers that will be added to the labor force, As it is expected that about 122 million new people will be added to the labor force in 2022, With the trend towards urbanization and the expansion of the manufacturing sector in the continent are all encouraging factors for the growth of entrepreneurship.
Omnia Bahrawy, head of the committee, confirmed, That this conference is held according to several goals and themes, Emphasizes and discusses the importance of convergence and intellectual, practical and educational convergence in order to support individual and institutional partnerships for the development of entrepreneurship to serve the continent’s economy.
