Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi, chairman of EABA, met with Mr. David Francis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone, and his accompanying delegation, during his 3-day official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The meeting was held to discuss cooperation with members of financial, business and economic organisations and models of major investors in Egypt. This was at the invitation of the Sierra Leonean ambassador in Cairo and members of the diplomatic, economic and trade mission.
Dr. Yousrey Elsharkawi stressed during his meeting with the Sierra Leonean Minister of Foreign Affairs that we always look forward to opening horizons with the African private sector and supporting the presence of the association’s members from major investors in agriculture, poultry, animal production, veterinary vaccines, energy, mining and public health for serious joint work with the Sierra Leonean private sector to provide many products, including Yellow and white corn and rice, as well as we can provide all veterinary vaccines for the continent, as well as we can expand the provision of health services to the Republic of Sierra Leone, stressing that the Egyptian private sector is fully prepared and has an appetite according to the directions of the political leadership and the availability of serious political will and the desire in the two countries for effective cooperation.
Mr. David Francis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sierra Leone, affirmed his confidence in the Egyptian private sector and in the inspiring experience that Egypt has conducted in the capacity of the state and in restoring infrastructure, and that it is an experiment that is being studied on the African continent, and that we have a sincere invitation to the wealth we possess of mineral, human, water and good land For agriculture and good investment laws that guarantee all guarantees for the investor to enter the continent and Sierra Leone in West Africa, and that we have opportunities for tourism,, and also we will be a good future market that needs various Egyptian goods and we welcome the private sector with the private sector or the private sector with the government.
During the meeting, many bilateral discussions were held between the attendees at the working dinner, which included the Ambassador Dr. Mohamedo Labrang, the Ambassador of Cameroon and the Dean of African Ambassadors to Egypt, as well as the Ambassador of Guinea and Zambia and some of the major investors, commercial attaches and diplomats.
