I had the pleasure this morning to accept an invitation to visit the Embassy of Sierra Leone in Cairo and to meet my dear friend, His Excellency the Sierra Leonean Ambassador, Mr. [Mario] and the brother friend, the commercial attach, Mr. [Samuel] and the virtuous sister, Professor [Suha], and I was accompanied by the engineer [Hussein Fouad Al-Ghazawi], the head of the Energy Committee of the Association .
This visit comes within the framework of the importance of enhancing cooperation and effective economic rapprochement with the African financial and business community, specifically the Sierra Leonean community. Which constitutes a new paradigm of what has been happening for long ages.
Discussions also took place on investments in energy in Sierra Leone, as well as the cultivation of rice and maize for the Egyptian and African needs, as well as the needs of the Sierra Leonean market for Egyptian goods and what is required in the field of health and integrated medical services.
The meeting concluded by drafting a paper containing all economic, investment and export information and opportunities between the two countries to be placed before the members of the association in preparation for serious joint work.
