The role of digital transformation in the development of education

The Egyptian-African Businessmen Association EABA, headed by Dr. Yousrey El-Sharkawi, participated in the work of the Advisory Council session of the Arab Academy for Maritime Transport, at the invitation of His Excellency Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafour, in the presence of Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, which concluded its work yesterday at the Academy’s headquarters in El Alamein yesterday under the title (The Role of Digital Transformation in the Development of Education and Training )

The session began with a speech delivered by Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, who welcomed the guests and established the strategy of work and launch in everything that serves digitisation, industry, and the development of El Alamein region.

Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, presented in his speech the governance’s preparations for El Alamein to become a tourist beacon and a city of millions, stressing the role of the political leadership that spared no effort to develop every inch of the land of Egypt. Dr. Iman Morsi, Assistant President of the Academy for Training, reviewed the Academy’s keenness and role to move forward in digital transformation in education and training, stressing the existence of a strong technological infrastructure and giving a distinguished presentation of what it had accomplished in the field of training locally and internationally during and after the Corona pandemic.

In his words, Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi expressed his pride as an Egyptian and his pride in what the Academy offers in 12 faculties and specialised in 33 copies spread in Egypt and throughout the Arab world, stressing the need for cooperation for the strong presence of the Academy in Africa and the continent in dire need for distinguished education and training, as well as the need for expansion with regard to ownership Intellectual property, the use of technology and digitisation methods in the industries of agriculture, tourism and specialised industries, the development of entrepreneurship centres and the adoption of inventions in a way that guarantees the secret of industry in cooperation between scientific research and development partners from businessmen, finance and economy

The meeting was attended by many leaders of the Alexandria dental unions, pharmacy, engineering and the military medical sector, as well as many major companies in the fields of medicine, construction and reconstruction. The meeting witnessed the signing of 8 cooperation agreements, the most important of which came with the English University of Yoklan, the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, the Egyptian Company for Satellites and the Egyptian Company for the Operation and Maintenance of Projects Aspic Petroleum Company, African Consulting Office, Mag Group Company and Petroleum Integrated Solutions Company.

The council witnessed the launch of the joint training program between Yoklan University, the academy and various industrial companies, with the aim of localising technology and providing young people and engineers with multiple technical skills and lobar market skills.

Dr. Yousry El-Gamal, Minister of Education and Adviser to the President of the Academy, presented a lecture entitled Technological Potential in Facing the Impact of the Corona Pandemic on Education and Training.
