EABA sign a protocol with the Nigerian-Egyptian Association for Culture and Economy

Egyptian-African Businessmen’s Association Headed by Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi, signed Cooperation protocol with the Nigerian-Egyptian Association for Culture and Economy, headed by Nigerian businessman Mahmoud Ahmed, President of the Nigerian Gulf Chamber, The signing ceremony was held at the Nigerian Embassy in Cairo. In the presence of the Nigerian and Ghanaian ambassadors in Egypt, September 26.

Dr. Yousrey ElSharkawi, President of the Association, stressed that the protocol aims at joint cooperation between the Egyptian, Nigerian, and Ghanaian private sectors in all fields, noting that this cooperation may be a model or an ideal version; It is moving to another cooperation in other regions in a good and effective manner at the level of the private sector between men, women, and entrepreneurs of Egypt and African countries.

He noted the need to directly deepen the good work; To hold events, seminars and conferences that could bring the Egyptian product to the depths of the African continent and vice versa. In addition, we bear the burden of the importance of improving the levels of intra-African trade, It is good to find ways to replace imports of commodities and from world markets and transfer them to African markets and to search for that by all means. Providing information to the Egyptian and African producer, factory and farmer, In addition to exchanging cultures between men, women, youth and entrepreneurs between the two sides and receiving different cultures for the African business community to create a space of trust that paves the way for good business, Explaining the importance of cooperation in economic files, and The studies available between the two countries.

During the agreement with the Nigerian side, Al-Sharqawi revealed that an annual conference will be held between the two countries through annual exchanges. The Nigerian ambassador also suggested that the date of the first version be at the end of next February in Cairo. This was done in coordination between the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association and the Nigerian side. This is definitely something that will open the way for Egyptian businessmen who want to deal economically with the Nigerian private sector.

El-Sharkawi also reviewed the importance of cooperation with the Nigerian side, Because of the importance of this agreement for the two countries, Possession of all the ingredients and elements of economic advancement in the region of Nigeria and Ghana with Egypt constitutes 33% of the continent’s GDP, and its population reaches 30% of the continent’s total population. There is strength in the two countries’ markets and a popular rapprochement that qualifies to move forward through new effective cooperation for all parties.

The Ambassador of the State of Nigeria in Cairo, Naura Aba Rimi, welcomed the cooperation between the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association and the Egyptian-Nigerian Association for Culture and Economy. He wished the two sides success, stressing that the coming days will witness joint cooperation and strong investments between the two sides.

Mahmoud Ahmed, President of the Nigerian-Egyptian Association for Culture and Economics, confirmed, The beginnings between Egypt and African countries were not optimally implemented during the past years, Pointing out that now the situation has completely changed, What we are witnessing in Egypt makes us serious and looking for a rapprochement, confident that it will be very fruitful. Where the situation has become better and heralds a new beginning, Pointing out that the Nigerian-Egyptian Association for Culture and Economy is now making a new start on investment, technical and commercial axes in all aspects of cooperation with the Egyptian side at the level of the private sector.

Mohamed Ahmed stressed that the Nigerian government will support the cooperation, In order for the economic cooperation between Egypt and Nigeria to be fruitful, Given the important role of the private sector on the continent, Pointing out the importance of having packages of services offered to businessmen between the two countries, He emphasized that the association has currently provided many components and headquarters, whether in Cairo or Nigeria; To facilitate the services of businessmen, And that the cooperation protocol with the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association is a new beginning through which we can provide all support to both sides, Noting that the cooperation will cover all fields, whether mining, Agricultural, industrial, commercial or cultural level at the level of the two countries.
