EABA sign a protocol with the Holland Africa Business Council

The association welcomed the work and coordination with the Dutch side in many agricultural and other fields and sectors. Noting that the foundations of joint cooperation must be based on common interests and the exchange of experiences, He discussed how to combine efforts to increase Egyptian agricultural investments, using Dutch expertise to work together within the African continent.

El-Sharkawi added: “We are working to provide new visions for dealing with strategic partners in the private sector in order to work and joint success on the land of the brown continent, provided that these strategies are updated and announced to the Egyptian financial and business community.”

El-Sharkawi stressed that the agreement between the association and the Dutch-African Business Council, It is based on a new mechanism of action through 5 main axes related to agricultural investments in the continent, How to attract foreign investments to work on the continent in a way that reduces risks and increases return on investment, And the introduction of digital technology in production, quality tracking and storage.

He stressed the second axis, which achieves cooperation in developing a vision; To establish modern agricultural production training centers that will spread as centers for the transfer of modern agricultural technology in various fields, The most important areas of irrigation and water management systems, As well as preparing human resources in the agricultural field in the different distinguished applied science gardens for the different agricultural professional categories within a framework, system and standard quality foundations in accordance with the requirements of international organizations and accreditation bodies, Provided that the training bears mechanisms and fingerprints related to the global labor market in the areas of agricultural production, marketing and export, and opening job opportunities in the agricultural field to reduce unemployment on the continent, It can also provide expertise to entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs in the field of agriculture.

Rose-Margin Viner said: “We look forward to working with the association to cover all aspects that the private sector community needs, not only in Egypt but across the continent. And assure everyone on the continent of the association’s presence and work on the ground with the African private sector.”

She added: “We were very pleased that as a Dutch team, we heard about the association and its activities from within Ghana, And from within Nigeria, Among the African countries, we assure you that we will develop our compatible strategies and ideas that serve what the next stage requires in the agriculture, energy, and irrigation sectors. We will participate in the Assembly in its numerous conferences and meetings with annual meetings through which direct expertise from Dutch experts interested in African affairs and experts in various fields can be presented.
