The Board of Directors of EABA held an expanded meeting today, at the headquarters of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs ??, with His Excellency Ambassador “Suha El-Gendy” Assistant Minister for African Organizations and Gatherings, His Excellency Assistant Ambassador “Osama Shaltout” Director of the Administration of Sudan, and His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Karim Fouad, Deputy Assistant for African Organizations and Gatherings Affairs, Counselor Tamer Azzam, Director of Communications with the African Union, and Minister Plenipotentiary Anas Shady from the African Organizations and Gatherings Department.
The meeting dealt with a presentation of the association’s strategy and objectives in the coming period and support for the Egyptian-African presence to create an African financial and business community that fulfills the requirements of the next stage in economic cooperation between the countries of the continent.
Ambassador Suha El-Gendy, Assistant Minister for African Organizations and Gatherings, affirmed the ministry’s keenness to implement the desire of the political leadership and the vision of Mr. Regional challenges.
Dr. Yousrey El-Sharqawy, president of the Egyptian-African Businessmen Association, Eng. Mostafa El-Amir, Secretary-General of the association, and engineer Hussein El-Ghazawy, head of the association’s energy committee, participated in the meeting.
The association presented many theses, working papers, goals and initiatives that serve the public interest of this important file.
