At the invitation of the Arab Center for African Research, Dr. Yousry Al-Sharqawi, President of the Egyptian Businessmen Association ?? EABA participated – as a speaker in the symposium organized by the Center at the Egypt Public Library in Dokki – under the title – The Role of Civil Society Organizations in Supporting Egyptian-African Relations.
Among the speakers were H.E. Ambassador Suha El-Gendy, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Organizations and Gatherings, and M. Amani Khader, Head of the Sector and Head of the Follow-up Agency for Africa Branches and Projects at the Arab Contractors Company – and in the presence of Dr. Helmy Shaarawy, President of the Arab Center for African Research – the meeting was moderated by Ambassador Samir Hosni, Representative of Arab Affairs African League of Arab States, some speakers.

In his speech, Dr. Yousry El-Sharqawy stressed that the EABA was established according to careful and accurate planning and study to bring together the elite of men, women and entrepreneurs in the continent, setting the strategy of sustainability and operationalization of work on the ground, deriving from that trend, the availability of political will represented in the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi And his permanent support for joint African action in a new version that puts the general goal of the continent at the fore, intending to present a version that covers all economic sectors in 22 specialized and qualitative committees, using recent employment in the methodology of rapprochement and cooperation based on knowledge, empowering women and youth, facing challenges and supporting the achievement of interests common.
