In continuation of the ongoing efforts and activities, and the distinguished relations that link the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) with its strategic partners, and in view of the keenness of some external entities to cooperate with the Association and its members, we have received a letter from our Commercial Office in Lusaka enclosing the updated Concept Note of the 18th COMESA Business Forum and Exhibition, including the Draft Program of the Forum as received from the COMESA Business Council.
The Forum will bring together high-level representatives from both the public and private sectors to discuss key innovative digital solutions that will enhance productivity and strengthen trade competitiveness within COMESA.
Objectives of the Forum:

Strengthening public-private dialogue in the COMESA region to discuss economic challenges and opportunities.

Launching initiatives and practical solutions to transform the COMESA economy into a competitive and sustainable one.

Deepening digitalization across regional value chains to promote inclusive and sustainable growth.

Increasing agricultural productivity and developing agro-industries through the adoption of smart agriculture technologies and modern innovations.

Promoting trade and investment through digitalization, policy harmonization, and facilitation of customs and logistics procedures.

Supporting SMEs, especially women- and youth-owned enterprises, to enable their access to regional and international markets.

Developing strategic partnerships with investors, regional and international stakeholders to enhance value addition.
